Susanne grew up in Berlin, Germany, and moved to the US after marrying her husband over twenty-six years ago. She is a homeschool mom of four amazing kids, three of which are homeschool graduates and have entered the college and post college world. The youngest is almost ready to leave the nest. Susanne and her family have been homeschooling since 2011 and have experienced many of the successes and struggles, highs and lows of normal homeschool life. Moving from country to country and state to state during her college years and switching majors multiple times, she is an almost-aerospace engineer/geologist with a not-quite college degree. She chose to stay home with her growing family, and today, her passion is to get moms and dads excited about homeschooling their kids and realize that with the right tools and a bit of preparation it is not only possible but enjoyable and rewarding to embark on this family adventure. Homeschooling creates a strong family bond, and strong families create strong communities which is what we want for our children and grandchildren. Together, we can do this!
